Sloppy Sliders
An easy camp meal, a game-day favorite, and a good excuse to grab another napkin.
Easy enough to make at camp, good enough to make again at home. Fire up the skillet, grab some buns, and bring your appetite! 🔥
What You'll Need
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
- ¼ cup chopped jalapeño (optional, if you want to kick it up a notch)
- 1 cup your favorite grill sauce (which should be SMH, obviously!)
- 1 package of 12 slider buns (butter rolls or sweet Hawaiian rolls are our favorites)
Also pictured: Hill's Classic Dust. Add a little to taste if you'd like extra seasoning.
A Few More Ideas
🏈 Feeding a crowd? Double or triple the batch and make a platter for your next tailgate or game-day gathering.
🥨 Got leftover filling? Grab a bag of chips and start dipping. Trust us, none of it is going to waste!
🔥 Make it your own! Try it with Hill's Classic, Feisty Asian, or Ragin' Beast Grill Sauce. Same easy recipe, three different flavor experiences.
Let's Get Cooking!
Get your ground beef cooking in a skillet or on the griddle. Once it's about halfway browned, drain off the grease.

Add your chopped onion and bell pepper, along with the jalapeños if you're feeling adventurous. Keep cooking until the beef is fully cooked (160°F) and the veggies are tender.

Stir in 1 cup of your favorite SMH Grill Sauce. Let everything simmer together for 10–15 minutes.

Spoon that goodness onto your slider buns. Regular hamburger buns work too. Heck, use whatever bread you've got at camp!
